Default Orchids inBloom at Hedge Towers

Here is my living room window display at the moment, I hope you enjoy the NOIDs and the succulents and cacti (which do have names!). I'm particularly pleased with the white/green Cymbidium as I bought this blind, out of flower, and was pleasantly surprised by the colours and markings.

I love your growing area! What I wouldn't give for that much natural light in my house. They are all lovely, but the white/green cym is just gorgeous! Excellent find for a blind purchase.

well done especially the gorgeous cymbidium, how do you manage to achieve a change in temperature in order for the cymbidium to flower? mine limit themselves to grow but in 4 years i never managed to make them flower!!

Very nice display of plants.

I'm laughing at your subject line. All I see is episodes of Fawlty Towers.

Cheers.

Great stuff Hedge I don't suppose you have a name/ label for the white and purple Phal in pic 3?? I have one just like it but, since it was rescued from one not-so-careful-owner, I don't have an ID

Great flowers Hedge!

It must be great in your house just now.

Is the second a NoID? I have two just like it that both came from 'Dobbies' garden center about 18 months apart. Not sure if you have that near you, but yours is really similar... also has a similarity to Baldan's Kalaeidoscope.

Love the others too. Especially the Maudiae.

Great blooms! What a wonderful way to wait for spring to arrive. And that window looks so perfect for orchids, what sort of light are you getting there?
