Thank you. I enjoyed the blooms while they lasted. The Stan blossoms are usually nice for about 4 or 5 days and the Burana's should have lasted at least 2 weeks, but they crapped out early from too much rain. My Pot. Richard Young has only one bud and it's opening today. The bud was badly bruised by the rain so I'm not expecting a very attractive bloom this time around. My 16 noid dendrobium spikes didn't suffer a bit and their buds should begin busting out next week...unless a bug gets a hold of them.

What great colour for late in the summer. It's always nice to have something to brighten up the day and flowering orchids are the best!

Beautiful blooms June! Isn't it weird how Burana Beauty always blooms with it's flowers face up?

Thank you.

It is weird, and I'm glad you mentioned that this is a normal trait. I've only had this plant for a year and this is her first time blooming for me. Her leaves are always a deep shade of green no matter how much sunlight she's exposed to. Then, the blooms were facing up and tilted every which way so I thought she still was not receiving enough light. What's not to love about this chid? She has cheerful, brightly colored, rose scented blooms and remains compact and carefree in spite of her vigorous growth habit.
