Default Orchid Show Haul

I went to the Ridge Orchid Show yesterday in Lakeland, FL. Here's what I bought:

Oncidioda Pacific Pagan 'Discard'
Wils. Sunny Daze 'Mauna Loa Dawn'
Alcra. Sunday Best 'Muffin'
Gdlra. Pacific Truffle 'Surogate Star'
Wils. Red Pacific 'Deep Shadows'

I won these in the raffle, I bought $3 worth of tickets at a dollar each. They are:
Den. Blue Twinkle
Bc. Little Marmaid 'Janet'
P. Carmela's Pixie

I already have a a Little Marmaid 'Janet', but this one is lighter colored and the bloom has a bigger lip then the one I have. Enjoy the pictures everyone.

You made out like a "Bandit" and "lucky you" even winning the raffle. Those are great looking plants. Did your purchased ones come from the same vendor?

All the oncidium alliance (except the Pacific Pagan) came from Orchid Island out of Vero Beach. He had really nice plants and his prices were good for the quality.

Amanda, I also bought the "Pacific Truffle 'Surogate Star' and was told it was not an Oncidium. Mine was marked like yours but Oncidium was on the pot.

As a new collector, I'm still learning......if not Oncidium, what?

Thanks......Terry

Amanda nice haul you got there !!! Congratulations on the new acquisitions.

Terry that plant is in fact in the oncidium alliance. It's definetely not something like Onc. Sweet Sugar or Twinkle but it is in the alliance.
