First phalaenopsis bloom! Female
Default First phalaenopsis bloom!

I got this orchid from my mom after she passed away and after a year, my first bloom opened up this morning! It's the first orchid I've gotten to bloom and I'm having trouble focusing on my work I'm so happy! Just sitting here looking at it and rembering her.

A great and cheerful way to remember your Mom!

Your flower photo has an attractive pattern and colors.

Nice job. You did your Mom proud.

Sorry about your mom, itslinzee.

I have a very similar one. Looks like it’s enjoying your company, and am sure your momma has been right there with you and now enjoying the blooms as well. Lots of buds forthcoming... a lovely way to reminisce.

congrats. It looks lovely, could very well be a phalaenopsis sogo allen which is a small staying phal.

Thanks everyone! Today ended up being a really good day thanks to this little bloom! Mom always did know how to do that!

It started out as a "just as ice" orchid so I was sure I would never find out what it was! It certainly looks like one so it's good to know what it could be. Thanks for the input! ("pink and yellow phalaenopsis" doesn't give the best results when doing a search)
