Hmmmm. It appears once again I’ve given unsolicited advice. It’s been one of my hardest habits to break, believe me. Giving unsolicited advice implies I know better than another person. It’s an arrogant position to take, even if I’m right.

It’s a bad habit, cultivated over decades of fighting for the underdog, or always having to take an adversarial attitude regardless. My apologies to both Bill and DCoconuts for needlessly getting involved. Imma go slink into a corner and give myself a time out.

PS You'll never get away with me calling you Bill Nye though, Ray. It's my favorite pet name for ya.

I have no idea why that could even be considered to be insulting.

Understanding the science behind orchid culture has really helped me be a better grower. There might be others out there who feel the same.
