Local humidity must be very high. All those plants together help each other out in terms of humidity and protection from drafts etc.... VERY nice work. So its true, the more orchids you have, the more blooms you get. Amazing blooming event. Do you find that you always have that many orchids in bloom all year, or do many of them conspire to bloom at roughly the same time of year?

That's true, Tindo, I keep humidity high. When I can't water the plants directly I water the floor.
Spring is always a special time period and many plants put out its flowers, so it's natural that we have more in bloom now. But, I always tried to set up a balanced collection that could give me flowers all year. I'd say that I rarely have less than 15 plants in bloom at the same time.

Mauro, you have the magic touch!! I spent some time in your country on business a few years ago. I was in Sao Paulo, Rio, Campinas, and Manaus. I loved the country and the people I met.

Keep sharing your pictures...they are great.

Thanks, Jim. Having visited Campinas you were near of where I grow my plants. I grow them in Itatiba, a city 25 Km away from Campinas.

That is reassuring! I would hope you would have orchids other than stunning cattleya alliance species in your greenhouse.

Thanks, Vanessa! But, you know, it's not the number of orchids you grow that counts... but the joy you take growing them well, no matter if you have one or a thousand.
