Default Two new blooms for Jamminjoe

Well im back from the flea market and everything i brought is sold. the professional dealers are jealous of me because i always sell everything i bring. if someone picks it up they leave with it... one price or another its going. I dont bring stuff to bring it back home. Im going to download in a few minutes my first cattleya flower grown in my garden. (not bought blooming) and a new vanda flower. I dont know the names of either one since i buy mine at garage sales usually not tagged. if anyone knows the name of either flower i will tag it as soon as you let me know. thanks!!!

Hi Joe

That first one looks very very close to one that I have, Vanda JVB x V Gulf of Siam 'Giant' (the JVB stands for Josephine Van Brero)...I'd have to say even if they aren't the same, there is definitely Vanda JVB in his parentage.

Here's a thread on mine:

I'd get a few more people's opinions on the comparison before I put it on a tag. JVB is surely a parent but it might not be the same cross.

The Catt is lovely. Could you possibly get a close-up picture of the fully opened bloom? It may help somebody in trying to identify it.

Hi Joe. They're both lovely. I have to say I love your hanging baskets & pots, especially the pot that looks like an urn. Very elegant!

Joe, I'm positively impressed with the skills you've picked up! I told you, you could do it I think I told you I retired from doing desk-side support for computers and everyone will one-day learn some level of confidense, despite themselves . You're doing well my man! Keep it up!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Thanks everyone! My wife and I have been married for twenty seven years and both our kids are in college. Ive worked two to three jobs my whole life and never had time for clicking away on computers. Im finely at a point in my life where i can work just my main job (post office) and feel like im retired. So this Ob is my first foray into this digital world. My wife is the photographer and computer consultant for getting them in here.
Its now Monday morning and time to get ready for work.
I always water and check the plants before work and feed the fish.
Have a great day all
