Default New 'chids from Ridge Orchid Society Show

My friend Linda (catlady) and I took a ride over to the Ridge Orchid Society Show in Lakeland FL today.
The displays were all very beautiful...and of course, I now have another half-dozen for the "wish-list"!

I did pick up a few new ones. One is a small vanda not it bloom (V. Fuch's Cheers x Ascda. Betty May Steel)
The sample there was a very cute burnt-orange color.

The other two are blooming:
Bc. Little Mermaid 'Janet' and Dtps pulcherrima var. champuriensis

Good for you Sue!
I went over yesterday and picked up 6 new ones myself. I'll post some photos when I get a chance...

I probably would've had a much larger selection if I had gone yesterday but I'm happy with what I got and it was nice to see the displays

Very nice!
Is the Mermaid a mini?

Very nice! I have Little Mermaid, but it hasn't bloomed yet. Cute flower.

Dorothy, my plant is not very large, but it is young yet. I don't know if it is considered a mini.

The plant is about a foot tall and the blooms are about 2 inches across...here's a pic:

Sue... sorry to distract you, but what is the plant in the back on the far left? I've got a 'saved for £1' NOID that is very similar in form - relatively flat psuedobulbs, right? (I figured it was an oncidium of some type - or at least that was the assumption I was working under until it flowers!)

That's Onc Aloha Iwanaga

Very pretty yellow dancing ladies

It's actually in spike right now! Oncidiums are not my forte` so I was thrilled to find a spike
