Thanks, that is Pot. Rebecca's Delight 'Moonglow' (Afternoon Delightx Rebecca Merkel) and is a fall/winter bloomer.

It looks like you've mounted the BEAUTIFUL specimen of B. nodosa to a piece of Cowboy's Christmas Tree ?? I think the name is cholla.

Thanks, for some reason I seem to gravitate towards orange or purple colored ones.

To be quite honest, that particular specimen was sent to me by a buddy from Indiana, and it was mounted when I got it. Haven't a clue what type of wood it is, but I'll see if I can find out for you for sure. I actually have several mounted specimens, on everything from driftwood to an old brick.

Hey Merlyn, heard back from my friend in Indiana today, he said the wood is just something he picked up out in the woods back of his house. Sure looks nice though.
