Default Is there a 12-step program for orchids?

Hello, my name is Jasen, and I have a problem. I can't go one week without acquiring at least two new orchids. Yesterday, I just had to have a nice, bare-root Phal, for the log in my orchidariumNew orchidarium!. I found this Phal. Ho's Amy Christopherthere-12-step-program-orchids-phal.-hos-amy-christopher-copy.jpg, at Home Depot, with two beautiful spikes. Today, on my way home, I found this Ascda. Arthornthere-12-step-program-orchids-ascda.-arthorn-copy.jpg at Wal-Mart. I couldn't just leave them there, so they followed me home!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

I guess there are different ways this addiction hits each of us!
I don't get orchids every week...but when I do, it's usually a total of 6-8 in the week I choose to do it!

HELP!!!
I'M TRAPPED!!!

Sometimes you need to focus on a particular Genus, and then make a list to stick with.
Otherwise you end up with every variety under the sun with varied degrees of culture need.
before long some begin to get neglected and you have difuculty keeping them all healthy.
I am speaking from personal experience and hope it helps you if not curb your addiction, at least control it.
Goodluck.

Then I would just reason with myself! Variety is the appeal, to me, even if I have to build seperate growing areas. Hey Michael, did you get that PM, I sent you?

I sent one with a picture of your Arundina, in bloom...and I finally divided that L. purpurata var carnea, if you wanted to trade for something, I told you I would give you first crack at it. It's the orchid in my avatar picture. Wait a minute....correction, I think I sent an email cuz I couldn't attach the pic on a PM.
