Default A couple unique new bloomers

First is an un-named Recchara (Blc. Waikiki Gold x Schom. brysiana)

Second is Maclemoreara Tiger Lily (Bl. Richard Mueller x Schom. tibicinis)

Remember when these were simply Schomocat's or Schomolaelia's ??? I think Shakespeare had it wrong......it's the taxonomist's trying to make names for themselves by re-naming things already named by other taxonomist's, that we need to get rid of !!!

But hey, enjoy the bloomers everyone !!

I love the schombos and their hybrids
minus the name changes
Are any fragrant?
I can see the Richard Mueller influence in the Tiger Lily
Gotta love that spotted lip!
What are their growing conditions?
I have a tibicinis which is producing a new pseudobulb and some hybirds that haven't spiked yet ..

We grow the 'Tiger Lily' mounted on cork, lots of light and being mounted, watered every day. The Recchara is grown potted in a coarse bark mix, again lots of light. I can detect no fragrance to speak of on either of them.
