Here is a pic of the whole thing. It is small division for now with a leaf span of 17". The tip of the new leaf is just at the 12" mark.

really nice! i like the purple leaves. DO you give it full sun? I imagined the leaves to be more terete!

Thanks. It resides in front of sliding glass doors on the South side of the house with just a screen slide for shading during the middle part of the day.

Terete leaves, really? Both Renanthera and Vandopsis parents have strap leaves.

OOps I thought Vandopsis had terete leaves and that needed more sun than Vandas.

Ted, I have two of the same plant growing in an open basket. They both have a leaf span of about 14" and they are about 10" tall. With the Ascda Yip Sum Wah in the background, they might bloom when small. I wish, I wish.
