thanks Jerry
when I got this plant home (this was early in my orchid growing), and went to my orchid book, my heart sank reading about Odontoglossum culture - I was sure I would never be able to grow this one! Fortunately, this hybrid has been very easy to grow for me.

thanks Ron I have an easier time taking nice photos of this one, than some of my others - I guess the color contrast on the blooms helps.

lol - thanks Thumper I'd love to see this one without the spikes staked - I bet it would look awesome, but it grows on a windowsill, and long, unstaked spikes don't work. The first time this one rebloomed, I didn't stake the spike - it looked good, but that was only one spike with 8 blooms, and was still somewhat difficult to manage ...

I guess I lucked out finding this at a commercial nursery/garden center type place. If you come across one - grab it!
