Default My orchids

Here are my currently bloomed orchids

They are:

1. A white NoID Phal from Lowes.
2. A closeup of a Dend. Salaya Fancy
3. Dgrmra. Jay Yamada
4. Phal "Gold'N'Wish" from Lowes.
5. a broader shot of the Salaya Fancy.

The Salaya was blasting all of its buds until I realized that most of the root system and all of the new growth was completely rotten. (watering once a week was too much, apparantly) So I cut off the rot, and the next day the buds started opening properly. Crazy. But 2 of it's 4 canes are now compost. Hopefully it will recover fully. Its had a heck of a life. It had spider mites last year, too. yikes. Im just glad it bloomed at all. It lost all of its leaves last winter and I thought I had killed it. (evidently they do that)
I have several other orchids (another Phal in spike, and a Brassocattleya and a Paph that have yet to bloom, i think they are pretty young still, though.)

I like them all, but I particularly like the Dgrmra. Jay Yamada.
