Default Mokara chak kuan

I would like to share with you my variety of Mok. chak kuans that are presently in bloom.



I think I need a lesson in photography though...

Thanks guys. They were imported out of Thailand.
They are warm loving and therefore requires full sun and regular feeding. Locally we refer to them as 'sun vandas'. I really enjoy growing them and get very excited when they bloom.

Nice pretty flower. They are tri-generics crosses.
Vanda x Ascocentrum x Arachnis and most of the plants are Ascocenda crossed to the Arachnis, and that why the flowers are very open. Ascocenda give the color and reduce the plant size and Arachnis give longer flower spike and frequent flowering. If you can give enough heat and light, the plant will literally throw flower spike almost every months.
