Default Monday morning blooms. 10/19/09

Good morning, it's a bright sunny cool morning here in the Chicago area, but what warms me up is looking at these blooms, is a mixed bag of things, my Paphs. are starting to sheath and spike so I could have a great blooming fall. ENJOY..... Jim.
1. Lc. Ann Akagi "H&R".
2. Paph. villosum.
3. Paph. henryanum.
4. noid Phal. from H.D.
5. Onc. Sharry Baby "Sweet Fragrance".
6. Phrag. Eric Young, still blooming second bloom.
7. Bulb. makoyanum.

They are all lovely, however the henryanum catches my eye. I love pink. It also looks so crisp and glossy. Anyway they are all beautiful.

I love them all but especially the Bulbo. I always love the fan shapes of those.

They are beautiful and I like all of them. Isn't it great the way Eric Young just keeps on blooming, one after another? I love Phrags but I sure wish the plants didn't get so large. I guess that is the price we have to pay when we fall in love with phrags.

Jim, once again some real eye-catching flowers! The catt is nice and I'd like to see a pic of it without the back-lighting to get a better appreciation of its beautiful color. Love the Paphs, especially the henryanum. And if your Bulb ever gets large enough that you might consider dividing, please put me on the list...'cause it's sooooo neat.

Thanks, Jim. The catt looks more "blue" in this pic. There isn't much besseae coming through on your phrag... You definitely have some very beautiful flowers not to mention the great photography! And I'll be right here to remind you about the Bulbo
