Cat & Bulbo in bloom!
Here are my two that I currently have in bloom. One is Cattleya My Special Angel (Cattleya luteola x Cattleya iricolor) and the other isa Bulbo Daisy Chain Hybrid. I can take credit for the Cattleya blooms since I've had here for a little over a year now. The Bulbo I got as a gift from my friend in my local orchid society (also OB user name Nikki Leonard.....thanks Nikki!), she wasn't in spike when I got her, but a few weeks after recieving her she started putting out multiple spikes...yippee! See I can bloom orchids!

Both wonderful, but I especially like the bulbo because they are so different from anything I grow.
Great growing

Thanks for the kind comments everyone! This is my first bulbo to bloom for me, but like I said I cannot take credit for the blooms. I was really surprised at how short the blooms last....about a week and a half to two weeks, unless me taking it outside in the drier humidity to take pictures caused the blooms to blast....but I don't think that is what it was. Glad you are all enjoying the blooms!

Yeah, great stuff Becca. Bulbos are just really cool to see in person. And (you know me), I love the Cattleya. Neat cross, did you search this one out or did you just find it accidentally?

Hi Royal! I found this one accidently! I traded with another gal that is a member here on the OB, but I don't recall really seeing her on here much. I used to be a member on Yahoo Group and that that is how I found it, she was wanting to trade. I traded my Paph. dianthum for it....I've been wanting to get another paph dianthum ever since but they seem kind of spendy now that I am looking for them...lol.
