Default First rebloom

I started with this orchid craze about 1 and 1/2 years ago and have 14 to date. I have had some bloom continually for a year, some that are still in bloom since I got them and many I am patiently waiting to rebloom. This is my first rebloom and it has given me great pleasure. Thanks for looking.

Congrats! Getting them to bloom again is a pretty satisfying experience isn't it?

When you have been able to re-bloom your orchids then you have mastered the art of growing. Congratulations!

Well, I wouldn't go that far. Maybe you've mastered the art of growing that particular orchid. Every species has it's own requirements, and even individual orchids can have different personalities. They love to keep us guessing.

But that's part of the fun! You never stop learning with these guys! Once you master one, you can enjoy it year after year while you grapple with your new challenges.

Anyways...

Congratulations on your first rebloom, Maree! My first rebloom was a phal too! With 14 plants, you're much further ahead than I was when I had my first rebloom. I just recently passed the dozen mark, after 3 years! Lucky you!

Nicely done! I still get excited over any plant I rebloom.
