Default Unregistered Cychnoches

I really wish I could take credit for blooming this but I can't. This was part of my haul last week-end from Greenearth Orchids and the buds were still really tight...her parents are Cyc. Bo Day Shus 'Carmen Luis Capriles' AM x Cyc. cooperi 'Crownfox' AM/AOS (thanx Sue )

Right now, she's in an east facing windowsill. I'll probably keep her in the same type of light as my stan and gongora...

Wow! I really like that white lip. Its got such an unusual shape. Does anyone with OrchidWiz know the parentage of Cyc. Bo Day Shus 'Carmen Luis Capriles' AM? This is a very interesting cross. Thanks for the pics!

Default BLOOM UPDATE

OMG!!! This great little guy sits on my kitchen windowsill and the scent carries ALL OVER the kitchen, dining room and living room....although I'm never any good at describing a flower's scent, this one's a no brainer....it's a combination of magic marker and moth balls!!! . It isn't offensive in the slightest but it deinately doesn't smell like a catt!!!
