Thumbs up

Very nice Dave the Phals are my favorite. You are one lucky fellow. When I go to HD all they have is orchids on the way to orchid heaven. I may have to camp out by the front door on delievery day

Happy Growing Dave

Beautiful Dave! I think I am favoring the taller of the two phals right now.
I have a Shelob "Web Master" that seems to be doing well from a foliage standpoint, but it is losing some of its buds. My plant is in an 6 inch pot, and has 6 spikes growing. The bad news is all but 2 buds on each of the first 2 spikes have blasted off. Let me know if you have similar problems with yours. I'm thinking that it is too warm where I'm keeping it right now. Any thoughts?

I noticed that one of the bud did blast. You can see it on the left side, all skinny and yellow.
But that seems to be the only one.

Thanks, I did a little research where they come from. They are supplied by Klassic Beauties aka Kerry's bromiliads. They are the largest suppiler of orchids and the second largest brom. in the US. Lucky for me they are here in S. Florida and they supply my Home Depot once a week with new Orchids. People will get mad at me but the Phals are 4.99 each and Onc. was 12.99

Dave are those the Phals that come in either a clear or green plastic pot. I've seen them and $4.99 is a great price; however I haven't gotten any because they look similar to the ones I've got and since the tag only says Phalaenopsis I haven't given them a try.
