Default Fakahatchee Everglades Orchids

Just made a beauty trip into the woods Saw a venomous snake a cotton mouth stoped it with my hiking stick thought of picking it up ,but I did not want any trouble my day was going to good to get into a predicament Walked or Hiked long long hours started at 10:00 a.m finished at 6:00 p.m yep it was a long hike OH yes I was on this trip alone oh about the snakes one more snake probably not poisonous it was black and swam fast like hell sort of like a bullet, well got to see my 1st nocturnam what a beauty found another 2 hours apart, saw some butterfly orchids seems they are everywhere also worm vine vanilla everywhere but not flowering Im writing I guess to much Sorry to end story found a beautiful ghost ORCHID way up I freaked cause she was up about 10 feet I call that GHOST the 10 FOOTER see you guys love,mike...

theres some pretty loud noises I think theyre fogs but could be gators hopefully they stay away beautiful red tail hawk stayed close she was a beauty but did not let me take picture looked like a bald eagle plus some other noises in woods that i can hear running what an adventure huh.

The water was pretty deep this time I guess its going to get even deeper I got water to my crotch, and I think the rains havent really picked up yet ,that means soon instead of hiking I'll be swiming through the woods hhmm, Is this what you think of when you think EVERGLADES, P.S---I'll send the swiming pics as soon as I get them -Chow?
