The 26th N.Y. International Orchid Show PHOTOS of show added!
Hi everyone, was wondering if everyone knew or was planning to go to the The 26th New York International
Orchid Show
Rockefeller Center
April 20-23, 2006.
I was planning to go  , maybe anyway  . I've never been to an orchid show  .

I can't wait to go. I've been looking forward since the last show. It is truly amazing, and you owe it to yourself to take the time to attend at least one day. Plan on spending several hours there. Between the exhibits and the sales area there is plenty to see and enjoy.

If there is a kovachii, then Im sure there will be a huge amount of people I would have to fight through jest to get a long distance pic.

These guys will be at the show today and maybe tomorrow. They went up to NYC to present an orchid (named for her) to Martha Stewart. They are both *very* tall, probably 6'4" or more. Art, Jr. has a long light colored pony tail, he's hard to miss. Just tell them that Linda Baldwin sent you.

Unfortunately I wont be going till Sunday, the last day  ! Besides I don't know about taking pics of people I don't know. I guess photojournalism is not the way to go for me huh, lol.

I wouldn't expect kovachii to be there since only small seedlings are supposed to be legally in the U.S. I'm sure there have been a few bloomed from the illegal plants......There have been stories of illegal adult plants selling for big prices in the black market.
