I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

I'm SO confused!
There are 2 big events coming up here in Florida in a few weeks.
One is the 62nd Miami International Orchid Show
(Presented by the South Florida Orchid Society)
Mar 2-4 at the Sheraton Miami Mart Convention Center
the other is:
The 2007 Tamiami International Orchid Festival
Jan 27-28 at the Dade County Fair Expo Center
This month's Motes newsletter refers to the Tamiami show as follows:
It is truly the Redland with air conditioning.
The Tamiami show is the one I'm thinking of going to.

Boith shows were greated, I exhibited at the Tamiami show and gave walking tours here at the Miami one.
FYI the World Orchid Conference will be held here next January. Get your tickets now.

I didn't go to either show 
but I'm definitely going to the WOC in Jan '08!
There are a few folks from OB that will be there...it'll be very cool if we can somehow set up a meet

I know of at least three Floridians from OB who'll be attending...how could a person live in Florida and not attend this event??? 
We also have some friends from Missouri and Canada coming in for the big happening
A number of folks in my local club are planning on going too but we're not sure if we'll make it a club trip or go individually 
Either way...hubby and I are going and we'll spend a few days at the Hard Rock while we're there
