sounds interesting. is it mostly orchids, or is there a lot of "other tropical plants"? and what type of tropical plants would those be?

It will be mostly orchids, but there are judging categories for bromeliads, african violets and "other tropicals." That being said, I have no idea how many are going to be entered. We were told last night that the show in Stockton had not a single phal!

It's a small show, but it is AOS judged. Anyone wanting to enter a plant for judging needs to have it there on Friday between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.

As for tropical plants for sale... one of our members sells carniverous plants, and he plans to have some for sale. I don't know much about carniverous plants, but they sure looked cool!
