The names of these two clubs/societies have been a source of fizzled brain cells for Laura and myself...we're never quite sure which club is doing what where!

Laura and I almost missed this one too!
Just yesterday, we were on the phone and she asked if I knew when the show was going to be...we both remembered going sometime last March. I'm glad she asked when she did because when I looked for it, I found that it's starting in 2 days!

Close call!

The show as really nice, some awesome plants within a few of the displays. All the vendors had nice stuff, unfortunately there weren't a lot of species and/or miniatures.

I came home with 5 new chids...don't even know how many Laura got but it was more than five!

I brought home:

Onc Twinkle 'White Shower', no blooms but it's fully loaded with buds

Den kingianum (in bloom...I have a small seedling of this one already but I couldn't resist the fragrance!)

Nanodes (Epi) schlecterianum, not blooming but too cool a mounting to pass by

Den scabrilingue, I hadn't even heard of this one before but it's in bloom, fragrant and too cute

Den toressae, not in bloom but again...cute!

Cool photos & great purchases! I like them all! Be sure to post when those buds open! and yes the 2 mounted ones look very cool even without flowers!

Great purchases too! I think your mounted ones are so cool too. I can't wait to see pics of your twinkle in bloom. I bet it's going to smell heavenly!

wow Sue, your Nanodes schlecterianum is fantastic! I have also one, but is not even 1/4 of yours

and the Paph. Ma Belle is just gorgeous.. I am in love with this grex, and is quite high in my wish list!

Sue, please post a pic of the Onc Twinkle 'White Shower' when it blooms. It looks like it will be beautiful.

Dumb question: what is the plant in Pic # 6 & 7 with the long white roots? It looks so interesting. Thanks for posting the show pics.
