Sounds like it is going to be a great event. And hey... the admission price can't be beat! Vendor list is impressive, and the free seminars are a nice perk.

Hope you can be there. From SE USA it's a bit of a commute, but if you're on the left coast at that time, hope to see you!

That sounds like a super-nice event. I hope they get a great turnout. I'm envious of those of you close enough to attend! I do wish I was in a position to take a road trip to California.

Reminder if you're in the southern California USA area... the show is this weekend (tomorrow Saturday, and Sunday) If you're someplace else... sorry to miss you!

Just curious... how was the show?
Did you see anything (or learn anything new) that 'flipped- the-switch' ?

Show went well - good crowds, fantastic weather (the best that I can remember... cool and comfortable, just missed being rained on), and orchids for every taste - from modestly-priced nice Phals to grace a home to a wide range of unusual species for the connoisseur of the oddball orchids (of course, a few of the latter went home with me). This is a show for which I have been a co-chairperson for about the last 24 years (over several venues), trying to retire, managed to hand off a lot of the more physical aspects of running the show but still spent a lot of time there. We do a lot of "Orchids 101"-type talks, that are really popular. I like to think that perhaps I and my cohorts have saved a few orchids from untimely demise.
