Default Pics from the MOS show -- WARNING very picture heavy!

There were a lot of really nice displays at the show. Had 21 or so displays if I remember rightly and some where HUGE! Main draw back was lack of space to shoot the big displays in one shot.

I really thought the pbs on this den were cool!

Now just a few misc plants from the show

This den is just too CUTE!

a mini Cymbidium

If I had room for a full sized Cym ....

Cute Ang!

Not much into green flowers but I've always loved this one

A nice catt

For those who like the weird, how's this Bulbo?

I sooooooooo want to try one of these! (But so afraid I'd kill it)

Gotta love these 'dragons' in flight!

Not sure what it is about the flowers on this den but I liked it a lot

Wow thanks for sharing! I wish we had shows like that around here....fat chance with that ever happening...lol. We have a Flower and Garden Show (two weekends to go!) that has Jolah Orchids with a display/sale and then the Treasure Valley Orchid Society has a show/sale in May but it is no where as spectacular as the one you just posted pictures on! But regardless....I still can't wait...yippee!

Wonderful!
Looks like the show was a sight to behold...and your pictures make us feel like we were there!

Job well done

You show a few pictures of plants that we've been discussing as candidates in our current project! Nice to see them here

I actually thought the East Lansing show was better! Better venue and better space issues. Better displays and better space issues. Get it!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Nice displays of wonderful orchids, shame about the size of the labels, they detract from the overall view, any opinions on that anyone?

So you made it to that one, Ross? What day did you go?

I prefered this show, I think. MSU's did have more space in the display area which was nice but they also had a far fewer displays.

WHAT is the name of that white terrestrial beneath the Bulbo?

WOW! It's really fun for me to see the orchid show photos! Thanks so much for spending the time to do so!!

Edited to add:

Becca, you want to know the kind of "shows" we have in Bailey, CO? Well, when they moved the famous Coney Island Hotdog Stand (yes, the building is shaped like a hot dog, complete with mustard) from Conifer, CO to Bailey, CO. . .there was a parade and everybody wore "weenie" t-shirts. And I was kinda excited about it, even though I'd about rather die than eat a hotdog. Orchid shows? I think not.
