ES, I think our friends don't understand the joy of appreciating temps above 104F.
To me, it makes me feel alive!

OK, so today it's 80 degrees at 73%RH. Again, not raining. It's like walking in a warm swimming pool. I can't imagine temperatures over 100! At least not now that I'm old.

Right now it's 99 degrees here, but 7% relative humidity. I'm indoors, but have the doors and windows wide open, it feels very nice. "Move to Arizona" was once the medical advice given to people with TB. It's still recommended for those with respiratory problems and arthritis. Many professional athletes settle here after retirement--it's good for those old injuries, aches and pains. Once you become a proper desert rat, you don't want to live anywhere else!

Obviously, people that luves under such tenps have their own life style and daily habits.
In the hottest areas here you don't find anyone outside unless strickly necessary.
Also, in southern Spain there's what is called the "siesta" ( the afternoon nap) that coincides with the hottest hrs.
It has all to do with adaptation.

You can't argue with experience but, for now, I'll stay here. However, my future is now open to explore.

Hey, once you deep-fry the neurons sufficiently, EVERYTHING feels just fine!

Hottest i have ever experienced locally was about 108 F in June a few years ago (maybe in 2012?). Extra special with the humidity!
