New orchids!
Bought 2 new orchids today!
Dendrobium parishi & phalaenopsis violacea x blue! Violacea is in spike yet, hoje she give me pretty flowers!

So the parishii spikes from the leafless p-bulb? I have a cannalculatum cross and they lose leaves, but the flower comes out from the top like Bigibba. I will guess that Brazil is nearly perfect for orcids! I love your patio!

Dendrobium parishii really blooms from leafless canes. Brazil is really good for orchid growing! :-) several cattleyas and laelias are native from Brazil!

I have a baby den parishii, what do you mean funny? Bad? Mine has a couple years to go until a bloom. |

I wouldn't say 'bad' as it's not strong. Not sweet, maybe spicy? But not sure if it describes it correctly. It does not stink. Does that help?
