Dendrobium kingianum, Phalaenopsis Elegant Polka Dots, and a Cattleya alliance NOID. Male
Default Dendrobium kingianum, Phalaenopsis Elegant Polka Dots, and a Cattleya alliance NOID.

Just a hodgepodge of blooming plants:

First, Dendrobium kingianum. One of two freebies I was given at my last Northeast Georgia Orchid Society meeting. A member had a plant in bloom with dozens of keikis (keikis also in bloom), a couple keikis fell off, so he gave them away. Blooms about 2 cm (about 0.75 inch) across:

Second, another freebie from the same meeting, from David Johnston of Jewel Orchids (one of our members). He had gotten this plant some time ago, labeled as Laelia crispa var. carnea (which this obviously is not). Since it is a NOID, he decided to give it away. I think it has some Sophronitis sp. in it, and maybe some Laelia sp. too, but those are just guesses; now it's just a nice little NOID, growing in granite chips. Blooms about 4 cm (1.5 inches) across:

Finally, a Phalaenopsis Elegant Polka Dots that I have owned for several years. Blooms roughly 7 cm (3 inches) across. This is nearing the end of blooming, but these two blooms are in good shape:
