Got a Bulb. sikkimensis, Bulb. Fascinator, a green, yellow/green variegated, and a white/green variegated vanilla orchid.

Hubby took me to the green house and wasn't in the door 5 mins. and had picked up a lithrops. Anyone want to help me keep it alive?

Got to talk to Chuck Ackers for a while and hubby took notes on some of the setups in their greenhouses.

I didn't post pictures of the other four because they weren't in bloom and though I was jumping up and down in excitement, I didn't think others would be. :0

peewee that Mo. Painted Desert x Catasetum Orchidglade is gorgeous!

Yes, it is! I can't wait to see it bloom. Your recent purchases sound awesome as well.

Here are my latest transgressions:

Potinara Regal Red 'Paradise'. This is the 3rd one of this cross that I purchase. I don't know why, but I absolutely LOVE this bloom. I bought one 2 years ago, then I bought one in November 2013, and then Ruben put up another one for sale and I *had* to have it.

I also bought:

Epidendrum tomlinsonianum
Encyclia tampensis var. alba
SVO Fredclarkeara After Dark x Catasetum pileatum.

Maria's been a bad, bad girl.

Angraecum is still in seller's greenhouse: it should arrive on thursday or friday.

Today I'll go to a garden (generic garden) where it's going an orchid Show-selling.

I'll bring few money because.. well: you know as things go :P

Just back from MVOS with my haul--I stayed within my budget (but only by telling myself that the Central Ohio OS show is coming up the end of March)...

So, here's my goodies:

Zygopetalum Rhein (nice hyacinth fragrance--probably the largest flowered and nicest fragrance of any of the zygos on sale).
Aerangis luteo-alba 'CH #5' x sib 'HR'
Vuyl. Melissa Brianne 'Shady Lady' (badly frosted in shipping so sizeable discount--p-bulbs healthy so should come back pretty quickly)
Den. palpebre '#1' x sib
Brs. verrucosa 'Knob Creek' x Mem Fritz Boedeker

The only one in bloom is the zygo, though the aerangis is in spike. The rest are blooming size, so it will be like waiting for Christmas for them to bloom....

Catherine

Been busy! Picked up a Lockhartia serra and a Bifrenaria tyrianthina from Meyer's, some Habenaria radiata bulbs from Wild Orchid Company, and a Neolauchea pulchella and my first flask, full of little Acineta chrysantha seedlings on Ebay. Now if they all would just get here......
