That's me in my element. The background is our scanning electron microscope with a couple of pictures of Oberonia flowers pulled up. Two O. rufilabris hang off the upper aperture centering micrometer screws. 
Photo was taken by Chuck Place of Santa Barbara for some magazine article on local (SB) orchid people.
Center back image on the wall is from my day job as researcher on systematics and evolution of marine snails. |

This was taken last month at the Guiness Brewery in Dublin with hubby. Hair's kind of a mess, but that's what it does in the rain. |
