LOL, that's one hairy scab. Do you get an urge to pick at it?

I think they have a bit of an octopuss look. Though the yellow version (see this page) could almost be scrambled eggs.

Micranthums make me think of tumors.

Some masdevalias look to me like a person who desperately needs to go to the bathroom crossing their legs

Finally, some bulbos remind me of a shoe rack holding an array of slippers

Edit: and those spectabiles remind me of calamari, more than anything else. Though I can see where the 'scabbyness' comes from

LOL! Brilliant ones... Though for me it's Paph Bellatum that looks like a cancerous lung sample.

Interestingly I found a pic of a clone which apparently someone thought looked like a Dalmation (well, I guess the spelling was a mistake...). Except for the spots I don't think that looks anything like a Dalmation: they have much more elegant lines. If any dog it's a Basset.

I think a lot of Bulbos look like people. Here's one joining your Masidie in the queue...

Wow, that really does look like monkeys!

Here's a picture of one of my phals I took the other day. It's actually one I found abandoned outside someone's house, and I've had a long wait to see what the flowers are like. From the amount of pigment on the leaves I had picked up it might be patterned, but it was still a surprise how patterened! Anyway, who can see a tiger?
