Sad new and orchid sale in Raytown, MO
I am sad to announce that KCMO orchid grower Fred Bergman is passed away. 
For more than 50 years, he was a dedicated member of the Orchid Society of Greater Kansas City, and is well-known for his hybridizing efforts. OrchidWiz lists over 250 registered crosses and he has created hundreds more.
His widow is selling the orchid collection Sat. Sept.10 from 10am to 4pm. His collection mostly consist of Paphiopedilums, Phragmipediums as well as Fred's preferred Phalaenopsis. The plants will be $5 per piece.
The sale will be at his green house - 9401 E. 103rd St. Raytown, MO. exit I-470 at Raytown Road south to the first street on the right, 105th. Follow this to the right. Turn right at 103rd, which will end at the bottom of Pat Bergman's driveway. follow the driveway past her house to the greenhouse at the top of the hill.
