WOW! Came across this older thread this morning and actually have an update (which was posted separately yesterday)...

there's a total of 4 basal keikis on the mother plant and there are two spikes in bud going strong. The first bloom opened yesterday:

WooHoo!! Phals. popping up like rabbits! Going to be one heck of a show someday.
My P. Be Tris has a basal keiki and two spikes. It's like a two for one sale!

Fabulous! love the flower colour and look forward to seeing the plant/s in "mega bloom" WOW WOW WOW You lucky person having a plant like this ! I WANT ONE TOO !!!

Awesome plant!!!! I've never had a phal give me basal keikis, but I do have a catt with a new growth coming from the top of a pbulb and its just the weirdest thing ever! The leaf that was on top of the pbulb died back, and now its just a long pbulb with a new growth on top of it...looks like a birthday candle, LOL...
