Which is your favorite bloom? - Orchid Board

Hello all,
I thought I'd try something different here, at least for me.

I have a personal website that I just updated...I don't sell anything or the like...it's just a fun site where I post a lot of photos and provide photo essays of things I've done. I also have a poll I do with each update that allows people to choose their favorite photo out of a grouping I put together...the one with the most votes gets posted on the home page the next time I update the site.

The reason I am bringing it up here is because most of my update this time around is orchid related. I wrote up 2 photo essays about trips to the Fakahatchee (I've posted some of these photos here in the past). On my site they are under the "Home Life" menu item titled Current Events. I've now got over 120 pics of my orchids (I just added 56), and the photo poll mentioned above consists of 6 of my species photos.

I agree so many great photos and the 6 to choose from are stunners... but I think I've made my choice after lots of head scratching.

Hi Everyone....thanks for your kind remarks...and also to those of you who voted for your favorite bloom!

Louise...the photos of the cats do need to be updated. Cleo is about 6 years old now, and Grace is coming up on 5 in October (I'm so glad that she still acts like a kitten sometimes)! I guess I'll have to follow them around some day with my camera and take some new shots of them lounging by the pool and sleeping on the living room chair.

I have three cats : mother (Rose), son( Jasmin) and daughter(Zoe)...Rose is 5 and the "babies" will be 4 soon.
I know it is not obvious but my profile picture is Jasmin profile

Hi David. I tried to vote for my fave last night but the website hung so I don't know if it went through or not. Enjoyed looking at your pictures. Looks like we have another passtime in common.....snorkeling. I love it! I do have to travel just a bit farther than you to do it though! LOL

Hi Terri...I did get your vote, thanks!

Snorkling is something new for me, and I do love it...although I don't have the same passion for it like I do for orchids.

I did learn something about the Florida Keys and their reefs when I went last time...I was told that they make up the thrid largest barrier reef in the world! I never would've thought about it before.
