If you could be an orchid, which one would it be and why? Which orchid fits your personality?
Would you be a Cattleya because you prefer warmer temps and brighter light or would you be Masdevallia because you prefer cooler mornings and lower light levels...how 'bout a Dendrobium, because they prefer to be pot bound and you like being in smaller places...
Tough call. I'd probably be either a Den-Phal, a Cattleya, a Pescatorea, a Zygopetalum, or a Bollea.
Then again, if I could be an orchid, I could also see myself as beeing any of my plants. They inspire me with their will to live and their cheerful blooms. They never fail to put a smile on my face.
If I could be an orchid........I would definitely be a warm grower..don't like the cold. I would be something unusual, requiring patience, but rewarding my owner with spectacular blooms..................I would be an eulophiella elizabethae.
If I were an orchid I'd be one hell of a crazy hybrid mix of species that just don't mix. I'm a nut. I enjoy a lot of different things and am almost always up for a change. I have good friends whom I must keep apart because they'd eat eachother they're so different. But that's just me

Me: "Uh, they followed me home... can I keep them?"
I suppose I would have to be a Bulbophyllum fletcherianum in that I am terribly slow to do anything and when I do, it just winds up being a stinky mess!!

If I could be an orchid I would be an alpine terrestrial. They get to enjoy the sun and beautiful landscapes all summer long, and then loads of snow in the winter. (perfect fot skiing!!)

If I was to be an orchid I would be a Dendrobium nobile hybrid I think ( in my dreams id be) tall and slender slightly but still awkward to get to flower ( I have always been a pain) and a hybrid as I am a bit variable and different to the norm.

In view of the fact that my nickname Hedge is short for hedgehog, I suppose I ought to be something spiky (like my cacti collection) but my kids say I'm a lizard so it would have to be something that likes warmth, and sunshine - although not too bright cos that makes me squint ( = wrinkles ....) Hmm. Nothing too humid. How about a Paphiopedilum 'Magic Lantern' - nice and pink so a bit girly too.
