I can't really see the seeds. OLD AGE, YOU KNOW. I have a flower right now, so I will see about capturing them into an envelope. I usually just took the flower over and scrunched it over where I wanted them to grow. :~) Barb Yahoo IM waretrop

Default starting out as seeds

I have a question:
When you start out plants as seeds, do they end up doing better in the viv(for example) then if you were to go out and buy a grown up plant that is used to certain condition? Assuming that the conditions of the viv are adequate, would the seed just grow up nice and healthy becuase it never knew anything better? The older plants often die when moved and often dont acclimatize to their new surroundings even when they are adequate (according to the literature). Just a question to ponder on.

I do both seeds and new plants. I don't have a problem with transplanted plants not making it. I make sure they get enough moisture and I also don't let them have any sun the first day. I only grow the seeds because it seems like such a waste to let the seeds go down the drain. Barb
