Is there any interest in a forum on orchid collectibles. I've found that people who grow orchids usually end up with any number of orchid collectibles as well - books, stamps, glassware, trophies from shows. Perhaps some would like to show them or talk about them.

Since I live in an ugly dorm room, I 'collect' orchid pics I really like to print and stick on my walls. Most of the pics are Mauro's (yes, I checked with him, he is OK with my collection!) It sure brightens up the room and I love looking at it. I have one wall pretty much covered!

I've made this thread a "sticky" so it will always be at the top of the list here in the Orchid Lounge.
I collect framed orchid photographs which are set up on my desk and on the walls around me in the room with the computer
I also have the orchid/parakeet statue collection form Danbury Mint. I'll post some pictures of them tomorrow
What do you collect, Ronald?
We have a collection of orchid books, including some antiquarian books, a large collection of orchid stamps and coins, and quite a bit of glassware collected over the years, most of it from shows.

f you're interested in collecting orchid glassware, Heisey Company put out a whole set of orchid glassware years ago. The pic is a sample that was given as a trophy at a local orchid society show. Pieces can be picked up at glassware dealers, on Ebay, etc.
