CPO Orchid Show (São Paulo Botanical garden)

Hi friends!

Some showy orchids in the CPO Orqchid this weekend Show (my choices)
1) Amazing Brassavola
2) Well-grown C lueddemanniana semi-alba
3) Laelia purpurata russeliana
4) Oncidium sphacephalum
5) C maxima alba
6) C x dolosa alba 'Suwada'
7) Laelia sincorana (1st place in its category)
8) and 9) Laelia purpurata 'roxo-violeta' (purple-violet) (1st place main category, L purpurata)

A short history about the Champion (LP purple-violet): a vendor (#1) looked at this plant in the tent of another vendor (#2), before the beginning of the show. #1 bought the plant for R$ 30,00 (~U$ 15.00) and put in the competition, winning the 1st place. The sad #2 told me this history, pulling out his hair!! (I called him a donkey, but he told me that this would be an offense with donkeys!). I confirmed the whole history with #1!!!!
