Default Wild tempensis day

Hi all, I have finally was able to make a trip to the Florida Trail in Big Cypress Everglades National park and found some really nice old Tempensis and some other interesting finds. Hope you like!

1. This a tempensis on a downed tree practically on the trail.
2. This one is on a broken tree
3. This one is around 20 feet in the air and was flowering and very large
4,5,& 6 are unknown wild flowers
7. This flower is actually on a aquatic plant
8. A wasp nest I nearly walked into.
9. this is a ants nest. The ants are black and build there nest high above the water
10. A mile marker for the Florida Trail

Yeah, great shots Dave. LOVE the in situ shots. So, you say there is a "trail" in that last photo?

#7 is a bladderwort flower. I leave it as an exercise for the reader to identify the species.

Yep! when the water is real high like it is, it can be a little hard to see but the markers are usually with in view of each other. Come on down and I'll show it to you first hand.
