Default My New Masdies From Komoda

Rather than hijack Ross's thread I thought I'd start my own. These little beauties were waiting for me yesterday. They look very very healthy. I'm very happy with my choices of flowers too. I tried to get ones that all looked different. The Copper Angel and the Angel Tang may end up looking pretty similar though.

Thanks for looking!

Terri...they are gorgeous!

I'm so happy to see some OB folks decided to give Ivan's place a try...it's impressive for sure

Terri, those are to die for! I love my Angle Tang and Ken Dole. Didn't opt for the Angel Tears, maybe that was a mistake. His plants are awsum, to be sure. Great value, in my mind. I do think he cheats a bit by stating the plants are seedlings, when in fact they are already in bloom Thank you Sue for turning us on to this wonderful source

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Did you order those? If so in the real world or online? If online can you repost the link for us newbies?

I am SO going to try one or two of the temp-tolerant from Komoda's. Those are gorgeous, Terri!

LOL Ben! Yes I did order these online. Here is a link to Ivan's website. I. N. KOMODA ORCHIDS

Yvan, you won't be sorry! I promise.

There is a $50 minimum order. Just something to think about. Well worth it though.

I have no other Pleurothalids so this is a whole new world for me.

Just get 4 plants and you'll be good to go. Good for the economy. Good for your collection!

I'm that way at Costco. Go in for a roll of Scotch Tape and spend $200! What's up with that?

They pipe something through the air vents that make you think you need giant supplies of everything!
