Who wants to meet at the Tampa Show? - Orchid Board

The Tampa Orchid Society is having their show from Friday 10/31/08 through Sunday 11/2/08.

It will be held at USF (University of South Florida)...and is sure to be a great show! I've emailed them to see if there's a vendor list available yet

I'm going with my friends Laura and Linda, and Dana (irphrog) is planning on spending a day or two here with me so she can go...

how about an Orchidboard get-together?

Yup...you and I are in the same boat...just backwards

I made the trip down there for the WOC but I'm not ever driving 5 hrs to get there again! It's a really long trip in either direction!

YUP. I drove trucks for a living over the road for many years. Totally burned out on driving.Now I can't stand to drive, unless it's away from civilization or to homestead, or redlands. But I'm sure you will have a blast. Take lots of pictures.

Hi Suzanne,

It's not too far for me to make it for the day...maybe I can find a local friend or two to go along with me. it sounds like fun...I've never been to the Tampa show before.

Just keep me posted on the day you plan to go, and I'll meet you there. I'll plan to have off work the whole weekend, so if it turns out to be on Friday, it shouldn't be a problem.

I just love orchid parties...er...shows.

I'll let you know which day we're going...hopefully, some of our other OB friends will want to go too!

Okay...we plan on being there for opening day which is Friday Oct 31. The first day allows for the best selections and the displays won't be getting that "tired" look.

I'm really looking forward to this! We're gonna have a blast!!!

Ok...I put a request in today to make that Friday (10/31) a day off at work. I think it won't be a problem, but I'll find out tomorrow for sure.
