Ok folks, here are the pics I took today...sorry I missed the bulbo...I'll get some shots of him when he's blooming though.

The first one is a group shot of the plants that Suzanne gave me. From left to right they are: Den. moschetum, Smbc. Jewel Osment, the little lifesaver plant and Phal. stuartiana.

The next two are the Milt. Xenia's Cove. The blooms are a little old, but they still smell great!

The last four are the Psychopsis Mendenhall 'Hildos' FCC/AOS: the whole plant with spike, the neat foliage and the two nubins growing out (sorry about the blurry one).

Isn't that Phal. stuartiana foliage interesting!?!?! I love that plant!

You made some really great choices, David! You helped me BIG TIME with my new babies too!

Am I reading this correctly? Seven flowers on 1 spike, or do you mean 7 flowers total, and one more spike to open? I ask because I have the same plant and when I got it, it only had 1 flower per spike. Since then it has increased to 2 flowers per spike and I have only split a tiny piece to give away. It had about 15 spikes last year and I am hoping for 25 or so this year. So, does yours have more than 2 flowers per spike? How large is it? I couldn't view the slideshow, so I don't know if it was pictured there.

Also, can you tell me what that last picture is of, the one that is growing on some sort of slab? It looks like both you and Sue got that one.

I wish i could have come traded plants with everyone and gone to the show. Maybe next time! I do have some things that need a good dividing.

Wow, Jenn, now that I look at what I typed I see your confusion! There are two flowers on three spikes and 1 flower on another spike with yet another spike forming...

The last picture is of a Tolumnia sylvestris -

We wish you could've come too! It really was a lot of fun!!

Thanks Dana, I'm glad I could help ....and I agree with you about the foliage on the Phal. stuartiana. It is very cool. The only other phal I've seen this on is schilleriana. I have a really nice one of those...maybe I should use it as a pod parent this coming winter when it blooms, and see what I get for foliage on the offspring. ...maybe a real

Oh! Thanks for clearing those things up. I thought my Bublo was a huge underpreformer. Glad to know it is "normal". You will be very happy with it. Mine about tripled after one year!
