Default They followed me home, Honey, HONEST!!

I just couldn't resist the urge...here is a list of my new babies

Trichoglottis brachiata (has 15 buds )
Brassia Caudata 'Alba' Jem AM/AOS (this one is just gorgeous!)
Bulbophyllum Daisy Chain (4 bloom spikes - doesn't smell great but I wouldn't say it's all that offensive...)
C. Caudebec 'Carmela' HCC/AOS (6 buds and I can't wait to see these!!! )

Great haul. Had a Daisy Chain Bulbo but it rotted - tried to grow it too wet in terrarium. Nice collection though!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

What a great haul!

I just brought home a little Daisy Chain division (only two bulbs) yesterday from Fantasy Orchids. It was the only one they had or I would have picked one with more pseudobulbs.

It does have one bloom (pale yellow and pink) though, so I WAS able to sniff it. . .I agree, it doesn't smell wonderful but it's not terrible either. It sort of keeps its stink to itself!

I've determined that the "fragrance" is a cross between an Arby's roast beef sandwich and old French fry greese!

Nice picks, Dana!! Can't wait to see the pics. And thanks, both you and Gwen...I'd really like a Bulbo. Daisy Chain and it's reassuring to hear the fragrance isn't too "magical."
