I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

LOL you two! I've been posting photos of my orchids from a couple years ago...haven't even made a dent in the ones left. I got tired and quit. It's gonna be hard to beat the two of you for that calendar....let me know when you are away from the computer.

By the way...I don't have a lot of those orchids anymore. Once something blooms I either like it a lot...and keep it...or trade it away. Sounds kind of wierd, but I only have a small grow room and can't over stuff it with plants. There would be too many to look after properly. I can't wait to get a greenhouse so i can grow everything i like. We plan on moving within the next two or three years. Ben (son) is in grade 12 now and as soon as he's done this year and then six months of 12+ we can look for a country property....GREENHOUSE time!!!!!

BTW, had a greenhouse and it was a pain! Lots of work! If your current setup works, go with it! JMO.

I also hope you win the calendar 'cause I'd hate to have you sit and gawk at kids in 'cinis

I would love a chance to live in the country and have a greenhouse. But I don't think I can do that all by my self. In anycase. I also am trying to respond to almost every thread, but as a mod, I can't win anything. I'm just trying to keep myslef as top poster. Pride ya know.

You remind me of a top poster on another board. What is this with "top poster" status"?

Tindo: keep in mind you joined in May and I joined in Sept. You are (were) at 1615 and I am currently at 180 (soon to be 181). Hope that makes you quiver!

It does. Why do you think I keep posting. To be fair. I joined way back when there were only 5 members. And posts went unanswered for months due to lack of knowledge base. Now come the days of the King. May they be bles.... Oh wait, thats a movie and totally unrelated. Anyways...
