Well apparently sea turtles in upcoast Florida are laying their eggs in nests that are really high up the beach. A local guy said that only happens in the years hurricanes hit.

An excellent example of nature letting us know what is going on. If we paid more attention to what the animal kingdom is telling us we just might be able to save this planet yet. I'm afraid that isn't going to happen tho..........not as long as there is money to be made...

Mike
Looking forward to the report and photos. I'm going to send this thread to my friend in Hawaii who taught me the fun of roaming through the swamps many, many years ago. I still remember the "thrill" of having frightened gar fish bump into my legs in murky water.

A trip like this exchanges fatigue, strain and worry for beauty, peace and memories. Keep it up.

Hey Mike, I'm right here. Looks like I'll be going on Sunday. Not definite though. How was the terrain? Was it blown around a bit? Lots of E. Tempensis

E. tempensis are all over the State. Mike has a neighbor that had property in the glades 20 years ago and he kept one. Heres what it looks like now.
