I have no idea if this is of any interest to anyone here, but we made a video about pre BCE civilizations and how they mention/use orchids.

We're history nerds and it's fascinating to see that humans have been obsessed with orchids for millenia.

From medicine for the Greeks and Indians, as a muse for Confucius or a drink for Mesopotamians

I'm a history nerd but I'm always weary of posting about it since I understand it's not everyones cup of tea.

We do too!
There is so much of our history related to orchids. China and Japan they become so influential during certain periods it's insane.

Not to mention the Orchid craze of the 1800s in Europe, that gets completely insane!!
