Actually, Rancho Santa Fe, California...just east of San Diego... she's a member of the San Diego County Orchid Society (president now), and also a member of the Species Study Group that meets at people's houses once a month (or did..., now on Zoom, I just got off the meeting). I have been to her house, and indeed her greenhouse is lovely. (The San Diego area is about 2 hours' drive for me, but the group is wonderful, it's worth the trips for me... never make it to the club meetings because weekday evenings they're in the "can't get there from here" category, but Saturday mornings are do-able)
