Default KelpMax Update

Wow! Courtesy of word-of-mouth and some You-tube recommendations, I have been selling this stuff like crazy.

My first load took about 18 months to sell. The next few took about a year each, but the last one has only lasted 4 months!

I just took delivery of a new batch, and the bottles are supposed to arrive today, but cost increases for both are going to require a $1 per bottle price increase, resulting in an as-applied, per-gallon increase of 1.6 cents.

I still have a handful of bottles of the current lot (expiration date 6/2021) at the current price, if anyone is interested and wants to save a buck.

Default Just have to vent a little

Sometimes you just gotta wonder how some folks keep their jobs.

Last week I ordered more bottles for KelpMax. I have pretty much no storage space, so only order them as I need them.

They arrived yesterday, but the bottles in the box, instead of being straight-sided, were shaped sort-of like a Coke bottle. How in the world do I label those????

The receiving department at the Atlanta-area warehouse mislabeled them when they were delivered, and the nobody verified that the contents are correct. Shippers just ship.

I contacted customer service, they contacted the warehouse - requesting that verification - and overnighted ($$$) a replacement case. They also sent me a label for returning the bad case of bottles.

Got the replacement this afternoon, and - Yep - it was the same incorrect bottle, identically mislabeled.

The next CSR I spoke to today put me on hold and called the manager of the Atlanta warehouse, and this time they DID verify the screw-up, and advised they didn't have any of "my" bottle in stock. So...the company is overnighting a case from UTAH (even more $$$) and will send another return label. They sure ain't makin' any money on this order!

Meanwhile, I'm down to only one remaining bottle of KelpMax, so I guess I won't ship more than that until Friday - if this replacement is correct.

Sometimes it seems common sense isn't being made anymore, doesn't it?

My reaction, if I was part of the shipping company, after realising the stock had been mislabeled on acceptance at the warehouse would be to, at the very least, open the replacement box, before sending out to you to verify the correct contents.
A better strategy would have been to check the whole order accepted into the warehouse to avoid any further errors in delivery.
